You think boys are so easy? What about when a boy plays with the likes of Weirdo and comes back all decked out in a tiara and boa? And worse, he seems to like it! How to handle that?

It’s tough for me to go into a Hooters or something in that vein now because all I can think off is, “Hey, that’s someone’s daugther.”

But then 3 scotches later, it’s video theater of the mind time.

We had a seperate boyz party for Weirdo when she turned 5. It turned into WWE vs. Marvel about 52 seconds from the word “go” and involved property damage. Somehow the hair and makeup party with the girlz was so much more preferable…

I feel for you. Having a boy is MUCH easier in respects to all of the above. I don’t think I’d have the kid’s birthday at Hooters every year (he gets a kids party too, but my guy friends like to have a separate party for him”for the boyz”) if he wasn’t a he. Ok, correction, I’d feel a little worse about it.

Mike, I would like to share a little story with you…

I can only remember one time in my entire childhood that my dad spanked me. And this is how it went down. Every day he would get home from work around 4PM and if it was nice out I was always outside. So he would stand on the porch and yell for me to come home.

But alas this one day I didn’t respond. So he closed up the house and came out looking for me. Where did he find me you asked? I was around the block, riding my bike in the street, barefoot with my mom’s make up on.

I was probably like 7.

He dragged my ass home and then proceeded to take the belt to me for all the wicked things I’d done. Needless to say I never wore my mom’s make up again. (Though the barefoot and riding in the street thing continued to get me in trouble for years – what can I say. I hate shoes.)
